why are we not in paradise? is a new, viral zine of art and letters. We seek submissions of all kind—fiction, nonfiction, poetry, music, visual art, film and other media—that answers, challenges or wrestles with the question our title poses. Our launch is slated for May 1st. As such, the deadline for submissions is April 28th. wawnip is also currently accepting applications for Associate Editors for music and visual arts, a Staff Illustrator, and Regular Contributors. Please e-mail a cover letter, résumé, and sample work to submissions@whyarewenotinparadise.com.
