Volunteer Disaster

With proper clothing and provisions
(fresh fruit and veg a must)
I would go and help, of course
it’s only human to want some
assurances,
regarding housing, bedding
mosquito nets and such.

The bare necessities;
Spring Vale water
glass bottles please
no plastic here.
Some pocket money.
An internet connection, essential
magazines to browse.
Will my cell phone work?

Or maybe,
it would be wiser
just to make a cash donation
and give blood

except,
I haven’t much of either.
