Smiley Reform

Postby Cameron on Tue Aug 26, 2008 5:01 am

To be frank, our current assortment of smileys is driving me batty, and I imagine many of you feel the same way. Obviously a lot of the present ones are...interesting, but I'm thinking a more functional and plain group would be better. The idea being, that then maybe we can use them in our posts as a way of clarifying what we are saying, which is what they are most useful for.

I would appreciate your suggestions on this. Actually, what I want to do is just nuke the whole thing and replace the bunch with a basic matching set I've gathered together, but I don't want to make anyone regret making me an admin, so I'll be a bit more democratic about it.

They don't eat, drink, have to have their diapers changed and don't ask for an allowance, so I say let'em be. They ain't hurting anyone and it gives me something to look at between 2 and 3 am.

I don't use them very often, but they don't offend me when others do. If it ain't broke...
