I think she's enormously brave, wading through all that rancid flesh for the odd tasty morsel. Her taste is without question (though I don't want to smell her breath)

Perhaps scavenger is a misnomer. Maybe I'm a pearl-diver. Poems aren't carcasses. I'm thinking I need a new career.

Of course they're carcasses, they're what's left when the poets have finished bleeding.

Though pearls are apt as well, since they grow out of grit and irritation.

Oh, this is confusing. In case you reading this didn't know, this thread wasn't originally about me, but Banditfemme, who has since left and become "visitor." Then Bluejay changed it to me for some reason. I'm not female. :cool:
