The upper photograph copy is hosted externally of the freeforums.org server, no cost to us,
by www.imageshack.com

the line of imageshack code can be placed anywhere within the posting desired

Next we repeat the image, now placed on the freeforums.org server.
We have a quota of image bandwidth.
This is a waste of our free bandwidth.

NB: Such large-display images ruin the page width in text-based threads.

Large images are OK, but if they exceed 640x480 in text-based threads
management may resize your image for you.
For an image-centric thread, go as large as you like.

Imageshack's upload page contains check boxes,
...........................................................................................................................................................................................................by which you can let them automatically resize a text-thread image to the proper size, vital to preserve page views from terribly long line-wraps.

See what I mean, Vernes?
big pictures spoil text-page views

Negative: the freeforums.org attached version can only appear at the bottom of the page,
plus, it has the extra text, looks bad.
I urge you to use external hosting for these several reasons.
Imageshack.us has long been my favorite;
you may use whatever service you prefer.
