Possibly unreasonable behavior on my part

Postby Dagra on Tue Mar 17, 2009 8:51 am

Greetings,

I just joined and I'm really glad I did. The behavior referenced in my subject line is that now that I've gotten here, I'm being forward enough to ask if one or two changes to your site might be possible. Aren't I the bastard?

Would it be possible to have a function by which a responder could "make go away" the bank of emoticons from the left side of the screen? They're very distracting, especially for those of us who hate them with every fiber of their being.

Though I might be the only one who feels that way about them.

Thanks
Dagra

Hello Dagra

You mean you don't like our fun, cutesy and useful emoticons. Aren't they just delightfull!!!

Well I don't know, I think you might have to put up with them. Bluejay though can confirm if anything can be done to suppress them for individual members.

In any case, welcome to the site, Dagra, emoticons or not.

Chris

D,

I turned them off, but they still appear. I will contact the technical folks at phbb and have them give me some help. A couple others have asked about this as well, so maybe it is time to reduce them to the background.
