I think you just answered your own question.

As long as guest postings are acceptable to group standards, the feature will remain open board-wide (nearly).
This won't last long, though. The spambots and trollers will inevitably ruin the privilege (so-predicted).

But for now, you have ability to comment or even post poems as an unknown guest.

If any overt attacks or nonsense show up
such posts will be zapped.

Otherwise, it's all good--for now.
