Please post your submission for the IBPC (Interboard Poetry Community) Competition. The IBPC is an international monthly poetry competition between many poetry boards/forums with members from around the world. Submissions will be accepted until 8 p.m. est on the 28th day of each month

You may submit your own poem or nominate the work of another member.

By submitting your poem here, you give your consent to follow all IBPC rules.

Limit of one poem per poet may be sent to the IBPC judge per month. If you have a poem being submitted by another IBPC forum, please do not enter another. Entrants consent to publication on the IBPC site and declare that the poetry is their original and previously unpublished work.

If Freewrights is not your primary or home forum we ask that you honor us with the same courtesy and respect you give your forum. For example, we welcome all entries, but ask that you not show up here on the last day of every month and enter, without blessing us with your presence at other times. Therefore:

you must have 25 total posts, either critiques or creative posts, before you can enter, and

you must have 5 posts in any month that you enter. Try not to login on the last day and give 5 crits of 8-10 words. We ask that you be fair.

Please post your final version prior to the deadline. Monthly winners will be asked to give the name name want to use and their email address before we can submit to IBPC.

You might want to check the IBPC site and do some research on the current judge. See what he/she/it writes, get a feel for what might be a good submission.
