Hey Cam, is it alright if i nominate you for art director at FWP.
Googling your titles was worth the effort.

I guess, if you want.

Art Director Wanted. Apply Within. Terms & Duties To Be Discussed.

There does appear to be a dearth of applications so i'm nominating Cam.

k,
thank you for your enthusiastic nomination. Cam's response, however, seems a little lukewarm: ( "I guess, if you want." )
I doubt that it is shyness on his part. Truth be told, I wanted someone who had exciting ideas for this board to volunteer. That hasn't happened. A member who will remain anonymous for now has offered to design a new logo for FPR. So I've been thinking that we might all try to step up in our own ways when an idea strikes.

Having said that, Cam, don't be coy. If you'd like to take on the position, please contact any co-admin, and you can begin to implement your ideas. If not, everyone is encouraged to start something, and collaborative projects are particularly welcome.

I admit I'm not real excited about the idea. I have no bold plans, no plans of any kind, for this board (wierd, huh?) Perhaps more importantly, it doesn't strike me as a job that needs much doing. Not much to explore. Those kinds of jobs tend to put me to sleep. *yawn*
That said, I'd like the job, in the sense that I like all kinds of [s]ego gratification[/s] opportunities to serve.

P. S. A new logo? Let's a have a contest, maybe? Logos are one of my favorite things to do, and I'd like a shot at it as well.

HiYa Cameron,

A logo contest? But I've already asked someone to to me (us) this favour. I don't see turning it into a contest at this point. But when you're Art Director,
you might think of other contests although I don't think we have the numbers to support healthy competition.

Okay

.

So consider yourself the Art Director. You'll be able to moderate this area of the Forum. I'm thinking we should change your Amateur Polymath to Art Director. What do you think? Have fun. I'll give you the keys now. You're about to turn golden. Please don't go overboard with censorship.

Congratulations,

This implies that you expect me to do a little censorship. You're right. Don't worry, I won't get too carried away.
