Until further notice or until abuse occurs
Guest Posting is open for business.
Tip: We can't know who you are, but we can see IP addresses
and can block an IP address issuing unsuitable inputs to FPR
Unsuitable inputs:
-attacks on members or nonmembers; general unpleasantness: verboten
-spam, porn, links to commercial product sites, etc.
We'd like you to know that as long as Guest (unknown) posting lasts here,
you may:
-post poems to the critical panels as our Guest
-offer critique to content as our Guest
-you may apply a temporary username (not of any of our members, though) to your Guest post
-bear in mind that the admin team can see the IP of each guest posting so please don't create multiple guests
to, uh, applaud your own work, or that of friends? We'd have to block that IP address if the behavior continued.
Let common sense for the common good be your guide.
We'd really like to keep Guest posting an option for all,
including registered members. Sometimes, we know, it's hard to be frank
when critiquing the work of a peer who knows you; you wish you had a cloak.
That said, I have my own policy (this is RW writing), that I don't post as unknown,
just so folks know that I come only in one flavor.
Guest Posting may be a boon to your site. FPR aims to belong in part to you.
Should Guest posting become unmanageable we would have to shut it off, with deep regrets.
In a short time, abuses, spambots, are liable to pop up. We'll have to stop the experiment then.
Meanwhile and afterwards, have fun, learn, create in good ways?
Reid
on behalf of the Admin Team
