The other question I had was whether you mean consciousness?

Actually, I debated the whole conscious, consciousness thing and decided I liked conscious more. Not sure why, except that I was wanting to stress a subtle awareness more than wakefulness, and to my mind this worked better. It's still a bit of a 'six' or, 'half a dozen' question for me.
