Dodging Bullets

For scrappy little bits of poem, minimalist pieces, poetry tails, witty repartee and other leftovers.

Dodging Bullets

Dodging Bullets
(for you)

No names here
only passage.
The cheerful grit of farce
between margins
not every round thing will roll.

When faith is kept in words
the Hawthorn edge is fluid
believe me
there is another scab to pick.

How can we learn the touch of moonlight?
mouth open,
just like you’re tasting rain.

The cheerful grit of farce

How can we learn the touch of moonlight?

are both very original phrases, otherwise, that is it for me
